    Is this via ODBC or via a proprietary interface?

    It must be via proprietary interface.  When i look at the ODBC sources, I don't see any Oracle connection. So the connection is probably made through the web, local intranet that is.

    My big assumption: proprietary interface = web connection via intranet.

    Thanks.

    Hi Patricio,

    At World Programming we've not specifically tested WPS hooked up with Oracle Business Intelligence. However, Oracle's documentation indicates that it is possible to query OBI via an ODBC driver;

    https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29542_01/bi.1111/e16364/odbc_data_source.htm#BIEIT535

    If you were to use a suitable ODBC driver in conjunction with WPS's LIBNAME ODBC you may find that WPS is able to query OBI out of the box.....

    We'd be interested to hear how you get on - feel free to let us know :-)

    Thanks,

    Hi Richard,

    Thank  you for the link, I'll look into it.  If I'm successful in connecting, I'll let you know.

    Thanks,

    Patricio
