You must apply a licence key to your WPS Analytics installation before you can invoke SAS language programs. On macOS, the licence key is applied using a command line terminal.
If you don't have a WPS Analytics licence, see Obtaining a WPS Analytics licence.
You require administrative privileges to apply a WPS Analytics licence key.
To apply the licence key:
- Start a Terminal window. The Terminal application is located in the Utilities folder of the Applications folder.
- In the Terminal window, enter the following command
sudo /Applications/WPS.app/Contents/MacOS/wps -setinit /Users/user-name/Downloads/keyfile.wpskey
Where user-name is your user name for the device and keyfile is the name of your licence key file. The licence key is usually saved to the Downlaods folder in your user profile and the licence key file might be saved as keyfile.wpskey.txt - If the terminal accepts the command by only displaying a new prompt for the next command then licence key application was successful.
WPS Analytics can now be invoked from the command line or Workbench.
